RDCO Board Report – September 11, 2014
The Regional Board has reaffirmed support for the Okanagan Basin Water Board (OBWB) Water Management Program. One change to the program is that the renewal period will now be extended to four
years from the previous three, to coincide with the change in the term for local government elections. The Regional Board continues to see excellent work and value from the OBWB as it partners with the North
Okanagan and Okanagan Similkameen regional districts on various water management and research projects. Each of the other regional districts has also reaffirmed support for the program.
