Agents catch Zebra mussels at Osoyoos border

We’ve been sharing stories about the dangers of invasive Zebra and Quagga Mussels.

It now appears Okanagan Lake just escaped a very close call.

Last week, a Canada Border Services Agent stopped a U.S. boat at the border at Osoyoos, when it was noticed the boat was infested.

Anna Warwick Sears is the executive director of the Okanagan Basin Water Board.
