Weather Report – April 2018

While the snow levels are worrisome, the most important weather factor for flooding is how fast it melts.

The La Nina forecast is for a cool spring, which hopefully will bring the snow down slowly and later in the season.

The ground is already very saturated, so we expect most of the snow-water will run off when the temperatures rise.

Early forecasts for the summer are for more hot-dry conditions.
