The Okanagan Basin Water Board and Canadian Water Resources Association of B.C. are hosting a water responsibility conference in Kelowna next month.
The conference will bring together representatives from organizations engaged in water management and research.
Facilitators for the conference will include Kelly Terbasket, program director of IndigenEYEZ; Aaron Noel Derickson, a UBC Okanagan PhD candidate researching leadership and governance from a Syilx perspective; and Kathy Porter, chairwoman of the Collaborative Global Initiative.
The conference will be held Oct. 17 and 18 at the Coast Capri Hotel.
